Hi people, I was busy working on my vehicle, so I couldn't blog in a while. Now, am back with a new topic.
First of all, let me ask you a question, do you keep the AC in your car all the while you are driving? India being a hot and humid country, most of the people will say yes. It's actually good. The AC will prevent you from the dust and pollution and if your car has a Cluster Ioniser system, then shout out louder, cause you will get fresh and clean air all the time.

See above to know, how a cluster ioniser works.
Now coming to the reason, why am blogging today on this topic.
Do you know, even if your cars interior look clean and fresh, it's not actually in the cleanest and freshest condition all the time. And if you run your AC all the while, then forget the 'clean and fresh' term. Your car is the most infected and dirty place. The germs and infections reside well in your car.
Now, the question comes, what you should do to keep your car really fresh.
The germs and infections reside in your car just because, you keep the windows closed and AC running all the time. Once in a week, try to make some time, park your car in an airy place, open all the windows and keep it for like two to three hours. Dont keep it under sunlight. Long exposure to direct sunlight is not really good fo your cars paintjob and the interiors too.
Switch off your AC four-five minutes prior ending your journey for the day. In the four-five minutes, the water will shed, preventing bacteria and virus formation.
Once in a month, get some two-three hours time to clean your AC. Take out the AC Vents and clean them. Blow the air pipes which which supply air to your AC vents. Take out the AC Air Filter.
In most f the cars, Air filters are present below the dashboard. Take out the Glovebox to reach your Air Filter. Take it out and dust off. If it's monsoon, blow dry the Air Filter with a hair dryer. This will not only, keep the AC system clean, but will also help you in keeping your AC well and healthy, so it can super-cool your car like a new one.
One thing I forgot to mention, whenever you take out the AC Vents, clean the Air-pipes with some Ether soaked towel. It will kill the infectants residing on them.
You usually, clean/touch up your interior once in a week. But, once in two-three months, super-clean your interior. Take out the foot-mats, blow them, wash them, blow-clean the interior, clean off the glasses, clean of the plastic and vinyl panels with a cleaning liquid, preferably Colin. And then, for the seats, wet a towel in an ether water solution and clean the seats with it. Then to remove the dullness, condition the seats with a leather conditioner and apply dresser or any protectant on the Dashboards and other plastic panels.
Use an Air-purifier, if your car is not equippd with a Cluster Ioniser.
Use an Air-Freshener, preferably, Chemical Guy's New Car Smell Air Freshener. Spray it once a week to keep the freshness intact. It doesn't only make your car smell like a new one, but it actually keeps your car fresh.
Now, the most important thing. Take your car to your brands authorised workshop once in three months to get your Air-Condition system checked and cleaned. Flush your AC System once in a year.
Nothing more to say here actually. Stay tuned for more updates. Stay well.
Here's some pics for illustration purpose.

Take out the Glove-Box to reach the Air Filter.
